Terms of Reference

The Cambridgeshire LSCB Business Committee structure was revised in January 2010. Membership has been reviewed and the function revisited.

Membership

The size of the Business Committee has been reduced and membership is restricted to individuals for whom safeguarding is their principle accountability.

The Chairs of all the LSCB Sub-Groups and the Area Safe guarding Committees have been invited to join the Business Committee in order to establish links between local areas and the overarching Board. Similarly the chairs of the safeguarding groups within health, the voluntary sector and education have been invited to join the Business Committee in order to establish clearer lines of communication between the numerous bodies covered by universal services and within the voluntary sector.
